Dear Members,
Sub: Filling up of Office Bearers and Committee Posts of ISNSC for the ensuing term – Calling for Nominations.
As per the constitution of ISNSC, the following posts are to be filled for the ensuing term. Nominations are invited from eligible members as per the state-wise allocation approved by the Governing Body:
POSTS TO BE FILLED:
1. Chairman – Tamil Nadu & Puducherry
2. Vice Chairman – 1 – Tamil Nadu & Puducherry
3. Vice Chairman – 2 – Andhra Pradesh
4. Hon. Secretary – Keralam
5. Treasurer – Keralam
6. Executive Committee Members – 10 Nos. – Two members from each State / Region (Total 10)
7. Scientific Committee – 5 Members – To be nominated by the Chairman and Governing Body
Members desirous of contesting are requested to send their nominations in the prescribed format, duly proposed and seconded, to the undersigned on or before the last date to be notified. Eligibility as per ISNSC bylaws will apply.
The Scientific Committee (5 members) will be nominated by the elected Chairman in consultation with the elected Governing Body, as per rules.

Eligibility for Office Bearers
Any eligible member of the Society may contest for positions in the Governing Body of the Southern Chapter, subject to the following criteria:
The candidate must be a registered member of the Society.
The candidate must have been a member of the Executive Committee to be eligible for the posts of Chairman, Vice Chairman, Honorary Secretary, or Treasurer.
Minimum experience required for respective positions shall be as follows:
(a) Chairman – Minimum 25 years of professional experience
(b) Vice Chairman Minimum 20 years of professional experience
(c) Honorary Secretary professional experience Minimum 15 years of
(d) Treasurer experience Minimum 10 years of professional
(e) Executive Committee Member Any valid member of the Southern Chapter with 5 years of experience shall be eligible
f) The chairman of the scientific committee will be nominated by the governing body. Scientific committee members with minimum of 15 years of experiencewill be nominated by the chairman of the scientific committee, with the representation of every state chapter.
Terms of Office
1. The Chairman shall hold office for a period of one year, while the Vice Chairman shall serve for a period of two years. Past Chairman shall not be eligible to contest again for any position in the Governing Body.
2. An individual elected as Vice Chairman shall not hold the position for more than one term.
3. The Honorary General Secretary, the Treasurer, and the elected members of the Governing Body shall have tenure of two years. No individual shall occupy the same position for more than one term.
